This is the #1 song in America on the Billboard chart the week of your birthday, every year from the year you were born (or from 1940, when Billboard's charts began) to now. Same rule every year, original recordings, one song per year. Billboard's Hot 100 started in August 1958; before that we use the charts it grew out of, back to Billboard's first national chart in July 1940.
If this made you smile, someone you love has a birthday too. Pass the light and hide one for them.
