Who operates Lantern Post
Lantern Post is operated by PIGENAI LLC, a Missouri limited liability company (Missouri Charter No. LC014688957), of Kansas City, MO, United States.
The service is free
Sending is free and receiving is free. There is no membership fee, no paywall between a recipient and their card, and nothing for sale on a card page. No account is needed to send a card or to open one.
Your words are yours
You are responsible for the personal lines you write in a card and for choosing who receives it. We render your words as you wrote them; we do not edit, analyze, or moderate them. Don’t use Lantern Post to harass anyone, to impersonate someone, or to send anything unlawful. We may remove a card that is used that way.
About the reveals
Every reveal destination is checked before a card can travel and re-checked at the moment it is opened — the link is normalized, every redirect hop is resolved, the final destination must be on our allowlist, and it is screened with Google Cloud Web Risk. If a destination is flagged unsafe or the sender revokes the card, the card’s light goes dark rather than leading anywhere unsafe. Those checks confirm a destination issafe; they do not confirm that someone else’s page still exists, so a reveal can lead to a page that has since been removed. Those destinations are other people’s websites: we don’t control them and we aren’t responsible for what they do or show.
No warranty
Lantern Post is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep it up and to keep cards reachable, but we can’t promise the service will never be interrupted. A card is a keepsake and is meant to last, but please don’t treat this as your only copy of something irreplaceable.
Privacy
A card is between two people. What we keep, what we count, and what we will never do is set out on our privacy page, and that page is part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States.
